Trend Setters is an unusual school with no comparison in instruction. Trend Setters first opened its doors in June of 1972. Dennis and Connie Millhouse made their dream a reality with the best beauty school in Alaska. We are the only school in the nation to three times win School of The Year honors from KMS Research as well as other local awards. There has been more top hairstylists graduate from Trend Setters than from anywhere else in Alaska. Our 13,000 sq. ft. facility includes a beauty salon, which serves the general public, and several classrooms.
