Back Pain Center of Alaska, formerly Spine Therapy Centers, follows our patients for 6 years after discharge in order to confirm that vertebral axial decompression (VAX-D) is a long-term success. In five years (we began March 1, 1996) only 12 patients have returned for further treatment with five of these patients admitting they did not follow protocol after discharge.
