| The Migrant Education Program offers literacy learning opportunities for all eligible families throughout the Anchorage School District. At the beginning of each school year, survey forms from schools are received by the Migrant Education Program. From this information, potentially eligible families are interviewed to see if they meet Federal guidelines for eligibility for Migrant Education. If a student travels outside of ASD boundaries in pursuit of specific agricultural and/or fishing activities, he/she may be eligible to receive Migrant Education Program services. |
