Dr. Washington W. Brown, Jr., founder of Anchorage Multi-SVS Counseling Center, has been in the mental health field for over 25 years. He is a licensed social worker (LCSW) and has an Ed.D and a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology and a post doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology. He is a retired Air Force Senior Master Seargent and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He has worked at the Alaska Psychiatric Institute (API) for 12 yrs as well as traveled throughout the state of Alaska administering mental programs. Dr. Brown is a long time member of both the American Psychological Association (APA) and National Association for Social Workers.
